A little about us

A&M Taxi is a family owned and operated transportation company. We specialize in punctual, helpful, and courteous transportation. Each vehicle is hand inspected and maintained by our master mechanic in our auto repair division. Each of our drivers is given a background check and drug tested upon hiring. Each driver operates a clean, fully insured, and safe vehicle. We have both sedans and mini vans available for our guests riding convenience. We are based in Crystal Lake, and we provide rides to all of McHenry County. Our main goal is to ensure that each guest that takes a ride with us feels safe, respected, and are 100% satisfied with their experience. Learn a little company history

Martina Maldonado established A&M Taxi with one taxi in 1994 .  When Martina was ready to retire, she sold the company to her son Frank Rancak (the current owner) in 2008. Frank had been working on repairing cabs for A&M taxi since he was 19 years old. He worked hard and achieved earning the title of Master Mechanic at a Dodge dealership he worked at for a total of 15 years. After the dealership closed down Frank moved on to work for Car X where he stayed for 4 years continuing to master his trade.

In 2014 Frank decided that he would like to open his own mechanic shop, which prompted the birth of the A&M taxi Auto Repair Division. The new shop would also become the new base for the taxi company. For your auto repair needs please contact our dispatcher and request the auto repair division.
